The 7th December 2018 the work 2001:Hamlin was presented in the context of the exhibition A Foreign Affair, the pre-end exam show of the KABK Fine Arts department.

After looking into mice life in my studio at night, I began fantasizing upon a post-apocalyptic society of scavengers acting beneath the domain of order. A rather monumental and silent installation reflects on orderly views of a missed future. The meeting table and chairs dip in brutalism, the mural/wall paper in modernism and the pied piper playing "La Macarena"  from a screen on the ceiling renders the hermetic atmosphere rather absurd.
